The Cox Internet temporarily disabled was an outage of the Cox internet network Monday evening at 9 p.m. It was the second outage in a week. The Internet was not available for anyone to use.
Cox is still working on an update for Cox’s operating system, which is now a permanent feature. The update is still having issues.
Cox has also had multiple issues in the last week with their service, but it seems to be mostly with the service provider’s website.
Cox is still working on an update to their system that will allow for more webmail to be set up and for the customer support staff to reach out to customers.
Cox is the second major ISP to go down since our last outage. The first was in July and the second was in July. Both of these ISP’s will likely be back up soon.
Cox isn’t the only ISP that’s gone down lately. Both Time Warner Cable at 6 million subscribers and Comcast (which has 2.4 million subscribers) went down a couple of weeks ago. Both of these ISPs are supposed to be working on a fix for their systems, but it looks like it may take a while.
In the meantime, we have your help! We need to know when you can expect your ISP to be back up. You can leave us a comment below with your ISP’s status, or use the contact form below and we’ll get back with you.
Comcast has been down for quite a while now. I was able to get online with my ISP provider about a week ago and was told that my ISP was out of service. I called my cell phone provider to confirm my internet connection was fine, and got the same message. I then called my ISP to see how bad the outage was, and they said it was the same as my cell phone provider. So I was not able to use the internet for a few days.
The problem is that since we don’t have a phone to call, we don’t have any Internet service, and we know that.
